Blog reviews and more
My opinion on blogs is neutral as I have not had a lot of experience with them until more recently. I think platforms like Instagram, YouTube and Twitter have created a meta between the traditional blogging style. Making it quicker and more accessible to share thoughts. I could be wrong though as I am not actively searching out blogs to read weekly. I think Podcast is another testament to how people would rather listen to something than to read it. I read Geogi Todorov's, Blog, "Top 10 Website Security Tools You Must Know." (Find Link here) Top 10 Website Security Tools You Must Know - Learn Digital Marketing (thrivemyway.com) Which talked about the pros and cons of each of these top ten candidates: discussing ease of use, pricing and key features. Some websites specialized in data protection while other sites did data protection and things like password recovery. I did not enjoy this website as much just cause the content was boring to me and the overall layout felt bland. I know the theme was supposed to be informative and professional, however I still did not enjoy it all too much. The other blog I liked was called, " The Problem with Young People Today is..." This Blog is satirical and critiques the new generations tendencies. For example, he wrote about the boy scouts awarding a videogame merit badge. He said, "but this is too much mad clearly nothing more than a desperate effort to swell their ranks by attempting to recruit the podgy couch potatoes we call the generation of the future. It's a dammed money grab."
I definitely think blogs are outdated, at least in this generation. You can get the same kind of content in shorter chunks which is way more convenient than blogging. I prefer comedy blogs as well! :)
